Some places, through good social media, a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’, having the right sort of petrol infused atmosphere or just being a really superb place to go, transcend many other automotive themed destination and become one of those places you just have to visit. A bit like Circuit Reims Gueux, Caffeine and Machine joins (for us at least) this select group.
Part roadhouse, part car show, there is always, always something interesting going on at C&M. The yard itself will always offer something of interest to every enthusiast. I’ve no idea how this actually happens but it does. Supercars? Classics? Modified? Retro? There will be something you’ll love parked up. On the handful of occasions we’ve been, we’ve never been disappointed with the wheeled delicacies our eyes have feasted on.
And its not just a feast for the eyes. The food is pretty damn good too, served inside Houndshill House (when circumstances allow, obviously) surrounded by automotive artwork adorning the walls – all of which is for sale if you feel particularly spendy – the whole place is just baked in a sort of automotive cool. And we love it.
If you’ve been, you obviously know all this. And if you haven’t, check them out online and then go. Its ace.
