Its often the case that by the time a manufacturer announces their new release plans for the year ahead, we’ve a reasonable idea of what to expect. Sometimes though, there’s a couple of surprises lurking within, things that hadn’t been on our radar and that we weren’t expecting at all.
And so it proves to be with the latest announcement from Solido with the news of their forthcoming 1:18 scale range for 2021. Some of it we already knew about, some was a reasonable assumption in that we can expect there to be newer variants of existing castings. But completely new castings? Well, sometimes that takes us by surprise a little.
So when we scrolled through the list of 2021s releases, that there was to be a 1:18 scale Renault Fuego (and in both GTS and Turbo spec too) took us somewhat by surprise! A 1:18 Fuego should prove to be a very popular addition to Renault diecast collectors collections but theres plenty more due along over the course of 2021 to excite as well!
