Coronavirus update

Just like everyone else, we’ve been keeping a close watch on developments relating to the Coronavirus / Covid 19 with increasing concern. Naturally, our main focus is the safety and well being of our team, families, customers and suppliers and it goes without saying that we have taken the necessary steps and precautions in relation to this.

However, as a family owned business we have to take steps to ensure that we are able to continue operations over the coming months, and this update hopefully explains some of the steps we are taking over the coming weeks and months.

– It is with regret that we have decided to cancel all the car shows we were scheduled to trade at in 2020. We had already planned some changes but in light of the continued uncertainty, we’ve made the decision that we won’t be trading at any shows this summer. Additionally, we have made the decision not to allow customer collections from our office for the foreseeable future.

– From Monday 23 March, we will be restricting International shipping to some destinations as Royal Mail advise that delivery to some countries is at present, suspended. We will keep this under review and reopen shipping to those destinations as soon as is possible. Additionally, please be aware that dispatch / delivery time for UK addresses may be extended by a day or two and that Royal Mail have now suspended all Guaranteed Next Day services

– Because of the disruption to supply chains, we do expect new arrivals and restocks to be subject to disruption and extended release dates. We’re also slowing down and delaying deliveries of new arrivals in light of the current situation.

– However, its not all bad news. We want to look forward to what comes next. Because however long this whole thing takes, it will pass and life will return to normal. We thought that if there’s not a lot of new products to talk about, then at least we can talk about what we want to happen afterwards. So we’ve decided that we’ll bring you a series of articles on the theme of #Afterwards and what we’d like the future to bring. We hope you’ll like them and we’d really like you to join us with your thoughts on our social media pages on what you want your automotive future to hold.

But most importantly, we want us all to get through this.

Stay safe.

Wash your hands.
