VW Polo All Types 2017

Change they say, is constant. Everything changes over time and regardless of whether you like it or not, it happens all the same. You could say that change was evident at All Types last weekend too. In the nine years that we’ve been trading at the show we’ve seen it evolve from a relatively small show with a friendly relaxed atmosphere to a much larger show indeed. Part of that change has seen a different demographic of show visitors too and this year it was noticeable that some of the older, classic VW group cars weren’t as particularly well represented as they have been in years past. Whether you view this as a good thing or not is entirely up to you and we’ll let you decide that one…

Either way though, All Types remains a pretty good show. Set in the grounds of Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales the show area and adjacent camping pretty much fill the site and despite the seeming changing of the types of cars on show in the grounds it still offers a good day out for the enthusiast with a good variety of cars on display. The trade area was kept reasonably busy all day and as always for this show the sun managed to join in the proceedings.

You can find photos from the weekend over on our facebook page and in the meantime we start thinking about the next show, Pendle Powerfest in Barrowford, Lancashire on Sunday 28 May. See you there?
