If we’re perfectly honest, the standard local car show isn’t really our thing. Not that there’s anything wrong with that sort of show but more that as much as we enjoy them they aren’t really the sort of show where we do really well.

So it’s perhaps as well that Pendle Powerfest isn’t that sort of local show at all. So what sort of show is it? Well, think of a combination of the following – a Sunday supercar type of event, a big one day classic show, a great family day out with live music, a massive selection of every type of vehicle you can imagine from classic tractors to buses and all points inbetween, then scale the result down slightly so it fits in the Lancashire town of Barrowford and you’re pretty much there.

Located just off junction 12 of the M65 – and handily only five miles from LobsterDiecast HQ – the shows attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the North West and with such a variety on display then its well worth the visit. This years show was themed around ‘The Italian Job’ and appropriately had a massive display of Mini’s, Austin J4 van and Lamborghini Miura completing the scene and making Barrowford feel just a tiny, little bit like Turin. Alongside all that was a massive variety of classic and collectors cars plus an assortment of film and tv cars, classic tractors, dealer displays plus a trade village and live music throughout the day.

This year our stand was located inside the sports hall adjacent to the fantastic Italian Job r/c car display so whilst we didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic weather we were kept busy all day and would like to say a massive thank you to everyone we met again!

See you back there next year!
