Almost before we knew it, it was July. And the first weekend of July means one thing – CamperJam.
Back for our sixth year at CamperJam held at Weston park in Shropshire and it does seem to be growing and getting better with every passing year. Add in some superb weather, a fantastic range of attractions and a first rate venue and you’ve got something really good. Yup, we really enjoyed CamperJam.
Whilst CamperJam is primarily a car show it also manages to be so much more than that too and combines plenty to keep the enthusiasts entertained with Show & Shine, VW related traders catering for everything and more you could possibly want but also offers pretty much all you need to entertain the family too – dog shows, music, cooking in a camper, themed party nights a fairground and so much more too.
As always it was nice to see so many familiar faces and to also introduce LobsterDiecast to plenty of new customers too whilst after hours gave Team Lobster chance to have a wander around, enjoy the various live music artists, sample some of the many and varied food offerings and soak up the atmosphere of what was a superb show. The only slight downside for us was the rather abrupt weather related conclusion to the show – at 2.30 on Sunday afternoon the rain came – actually rain doesn’t seem a sufficient description of the torrential downpour that arrived – and sent many people scurrying back to their campers and eventually home. But that aside it was still a fantastic and very busy weekend and we’d like to thank all our customers old and new who we met at the show. That it was so busy meant we didn’t get many pictures but you can find a selection on our facebook page.
We’ll be back in 2016 (1-3 July 2016) for what is undoubtedly one of the highlights of our show season and for our seventh year at CamperJam, see you there!
