Show Reports – All Types VW – One wedding and a car show….

A wedding at a car show? Well actually, yes. But more on that shortly.

For what we think was the seventh year, this weekend we were back at All Types VW Show held in the scenic grounds of Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales.

As ever there was a superb turn out of cars with pretty much all aspects of the VW scene represented so the show really does live up to its name as there genuinely are ‘All Types’ of VW present.

Despite the rather breezy conditions the weather stayed dry which was fortunate for the girl in the Golf Cabriolet who arrived at the show rather late in the day but drove straight in to where ‘Elvis’ was belting out the hits stood at a flower bedecked altar where her future husband awaited. Because this year and perhaps uniquely for a car show she was getting married as part of a future episode of ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’ Presumably it’ll be on tv later this year and hopefully you might even catch our logo in the background!

Aside from that it was a packed show with a good selection of traders and show cars aplenty together with the appealing castle and its grounds to look around if you had the opportunity.

And so we can look forward to the next show – next up for LobsterDiecast is our furthest show as we make the journey South to VW Expo at Stonor Park on Sunday 31 May.
