It’s always good to finish the show season on a high note, so the NEC Classic Motor Show is a very good venue to conclude our show year.
Seemingly managing to increase its appeal every year, this year around 85,000 visitors flocked to the NEC to see a massive range of classic cars as well as taking in the live events and meeting the best of the UK’s classic traders selling a range of everything a classic car enthusiast could possibly need (including diecast models, obviously).
For us it was a great show and we have to say Thank You to everyone who we met – whether for the first time or if we’ve known you for years! It’s always nice to meet customers face to face and to hear that you like what we do and thats one of the best parts of the show for us, your feedback and custom is appreciated.
The show itself was immense both in terms of size and quality. This year the theme was ‘Screen Cars’ and amongst the many display stands you could find a Back To The Future DeLorean, Ghostbusters ‘Ecto 1’ as well as Arthur Daley’s Jaguar XJ6 and many other famous faces! As ever there were club stands covering every possible taste from Ferrari to FSO and all points inbetween. In truth, one day isn’t really enough to take it all in such is the size and quality of the show but even though we were there for four days we saw hardly any of it – the downside to the LobsterDiecast stand being busy all weekend meant that opportunities for having a wander off to look at the exhibits were few and far between.
Next years show is held from Friday 13 November – Sunday 15 November. So we’ll see you then!
