Shows – CamperJam, Weston Park.

After a few weeks break from shows, Part Two of our show season commences with CamperJam.  If you’re not familiar with the format CamperJam is a family friendly VW show with loads of live entertainment alongside all the normal car show stuff you’d expect so alongside the usual Show ‘n’ Shine theres also Cooking in A Camper competitions, a selection of live music to suit most musical tastes, karaoke, fancy dress competitions, dog shows and a pretty extensive fun fair.  Theres also hundreds of traders plus possibly the widest range of food stands we’ve seen at a show in quite some time (Team Lobster thoroughly approved of the Greek Street Food stand on Saturday night,  less approved of the queueing system for sausage and chips on Sunday after waiting for an hour!).

So anyway, the weather was good with sunburn a real possibility and we were kept busy all weekend with a steady stream of customers old and new taking a fairly long walk around the mile long trade strip. Away from trading hours there was plenty to keep us occupied too – mainly wandering around the many and varied campers and planning inventive financial ways to acquire a fully loaded new T5 (anyone got a spare £50k?).

And before we knew it, it was all over for another year. We’d been kept busy, we’d eaten plenty (and possibly had a drink or two) and generally had another enjoyable show.
