With Christmas fast approaching we thought it was worth mentioning last posting dates for Christmas delivery for various parts of the world. So if you are buying an item and need it delivered before Christmas then the following will be important!
Asia, Far East (incl Japan), Australia, New Zealand - Wednesday 4th December
South & Central America - Friday 6th December
Eastern Europe & Cyprus - Monday 9th December
Canada, France, Greece & Poland - Tuesday 10th December
USA - Friday 13th December
Western Europe (excl France, Greece & Poland) - Saturday 14th December
UK - Friday 20th December
(Special Delivery is available for Christmas delivery until Monday 23rd December - on our eBay store you can select Special Delivery at checkout otherwise please telephone for details)
If you purchase your item after these dates whilst it may still reach you we cannot guarantee it. As ever we despatch everything within 24hrs (weekdays) of you placing your order so regardless of whether you have missed the cut off for your area or not we will still ship your item.
The date represents the last day that Royal Mail recommend for items to be delivered before Christmas. Please be aware though that these aren't guaranteed and that items posted after these dates may still arrive in time!

We've already seen some of Ottos new announcements for January 2014 but this week we've also received details of what else we can expect to see from Otto in 2014.
February brings another BMW E34 M5 as well as a Mk1 Ford Focus RS in Imperial Blue which should be very popular indeed! Beyond that and going in a slightly different direction to some of the models they have produced before, we'll be seeing a selection of Italian cars from Otto including the Alfa 147 GTA, Fiat Ritmo Abarth and Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo which we are told to expect around March or thereabouts! We've also been told of a number of Opel models that are in the pipeline and whilst there isn't much in the way of details yet we expect to see the first Opels next summer!

Normally we'll get a show report up within a day or so of the show finishing but its taken a few days to get around to writing a report about the NEC Classic as everyone at LobsterDiecast was incredibly busy with the event itself and getting back to normal afterwards together with catching up on some sleep plus all our normal day to day business.
The NEC Classic Motorshow is the traditional end of season show for the UK classic car fraternity (although it attracts enthusiasts from acrosss Europe) and is spread across eleven of the NEC's very large halls and covers every aspect of the classic car and bike scene that you can imagine from car clubs to marque specialists and features a Classic Trader Village with several hundred of the UK and Europes finest traders catering for everything an enthusiast could possibly require. And thats where we come in!
For one reason or another we've never had a stand at the NEC before but thats all changed now! This year we took a massive range of diecast and resin models with us covering as many styles, tastes and pockets as possible - a sort of condensed version of this site and our ebay store brought from the online world to right in front of you if you like!
We had a very busy few days at the the show but for us the best bit about it was to meet so many friends and customers and to get such a lot of positive feedback and comments on what we do and the products we bring you. It was great to meet so many people and put faces to names and your feedback is really appreciated.
Normally we'd bring you a selection of pictures from the event (and we do have a few) but as we were so busy the opportunity to have a wander was somewhat limited so whilst there are a few pictures below we've also included a link to our friend Alex's blog which has a selection of cars from the show!
Dates for 2014 have already been announced - November 14, 15, 16 so if you don't get to any other shows next year make sure you get to this one. Seriously :)

Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?
Despite now coming up towards their 30th birthday, the Back To The Future films are as popular as ever and whilst we can't yet buy hoverboards, flying cars or some of the future technology that was envisaged for 2015, if you'd like a (1:24 scale) DeLorean Time Machine of your own then you'll be delighted to know that we have just had restocks on the DeLoreans from BTTF 1, 2 and 3 back in stock!

This week we are expecting a rather pleasing looking delivery from Norev.
Renault models are always popular both with the LobsterDiecast team and with our customers so many people should be happy to see the 1985 Renault 5 Laureate Turbo, Renault 25 TX, Trafic Pompiers or Megane Police Nationale. As well as these, we've also got the new Peugeot 504 Break in Silver and the ever popular VW Golf Mk1 GTi in black all of which are new releases for November.
In a larger scale, we've just had the Fiat 500 Jardiniere and the new delivery includes the always popular Mk3 Ford Capri - this time in 2.8 Injection specification and finished in light blue metallic.
All these (together with the rest of our large selection of Norevs) are available to order now!
